Services We Provide
Per Statutory regulation, Local Emergency Planning Committees are required
to perform many services in an effort to promote chemical awareness. These
services are:
- Site Location database management
- Site hazardous materials database management
- Contact number database management
- Incident database management
- Emergency plan development and management
Local Emergency Planning Committees are required to provide,
upon request, information regarding specific companies in the
LEPC. Information that we will provide is:
- Name and address of the Company
- A listing of the chemicals
- Quantities of the chemicals
- Listing of the dates of incidents at the site (if any)
- Copies of Incident Reports
The procedure for the requesting information is as follows -
- Download and fill out the information request located in the
"contact us" section.
- Send the completed request via registered mail to:

3. A complete report will be sent within 2 weeks. LEPC 3
reserves the right to refuse to limit information based on
Homeland Security issues.
4. All requests for information shall be subject to fees set forth
by the State of RI Open records Act.
